About AStarBox

Simplifying your imaging — lighter, more powerful, more open.

Our mission

Power and control your imaging with a single device.

AStarBox was designed to cut through the complexity of modern astroimaging. A typical imaging rig involves multiple power supplies, USB hubs, dew controllers, and computing devices — all adding weight, cable clutter, and points of failure. AStarBox consolidates all of this into a single open platform built around the Raspberry Pi 5, giving you full power management, computing, and hardware control in one compact unit that weighs just 222g.

Unlike other solutions, AStarBox is not locked to any particular manufacturer or software ecosystem. You choose your operating system — AstroArch, Raspbian, or StellarMate — and your software suite, whether that's INDI, TheSky, PHD2, FireCapture, or AstroDMx. Your hardware, your workflow, your choice.
